Standards-based delivery
Moodle supports SCORM 1.2 packages and uses the package manifest to understand the structure, resources and launch files inside a compliant zip package.
Matrix TSL LMS
Matrix TSL has created a Moodle-powered LMS that delivers standards-based engineering training, tracks learner progress, and keeps practical technical content portable across compliant platforms.
Moodle supports SCORM 1.2 packages and uses the package manifest to understand the structure, resources and launch files inside a compliant zip package.
SCORM activities can pass learner status and score information into Moodle, giving tutors a practical route from interactive content to visible progress and assessment records.
Matrix TSL content can be packaged for consistent deployment, making it easier to deliver PLC, electronics, automation and engineering resources across compatible learning environments.
What compliance means here
Moodle presents SCORM packages to learners and stores interaction data from those packages. A valid
SCORM package includes an imsmanifest.xml file at the package root, with the learning
assets and launch resources declared in that manifest.
For accuracy: Moodle's native SCORM support is focused on SCORM 1.2. Moodle's own documentation says native SCORM 2004 support is not fully supported, so Matrix TSL's LMS messaging should describe this as SCORM 1.2-compliant delivery unless a certified SCORM 2004 player is added.
